Integration with Automation Engine

Planning with Packway is swift and simple. The system proposes the order in which new jobs are added to your production plan, and you are free to modify this at any time. Simultaneously all work centres involving the new job are automatically updated. This means you can instantly see any issues or delays relating to requested delivery dates. This allows you to modify day-to-day scheduling on work centres which are overloaded. Through its integration with Automation Engine, Packway highlights optimisation suggestions and quotes the percentage waste for each individual material. Acceptable tolerance levels are also shown. Once the optimum combination has been determined, the job will move on to the printing, cutting and milling centres. The system provides a graphical representation of machine schedules and work times which can be modified if necessary to meet pre-established work centre workload tolerances.

Monitoring Production

Web Browser allows you to view each machine centre and list the order of the specific activities to be performed and the materials to be processed. The operator interfaces with the programme using a simple barcode reader. This allows the operator to ensure that the right panels are being processed and that the right operations are being carried out on them. Plus, Web Browser provides the manager with a Dashboard showing the current status of all machines in the production department, allowing them to constantly monitor any machine downtime and identify process anomalies.
