PROJECT DATASHEET

The format of the project datasheet is tailored to follow the manufacturing process of the business using it. Generally, these fall into three categories based on the product supplied:

BOX MANUFACTURERS: For a box manufacturer, a project is based on the performance requirements of the box, with the aim of offering the end client the best product at an affordable price.

PACKAGING MANUFACTURERS: Packaging manufacturers base their project datasheets around the gathering of technical details relating to the end product and any necessary certification requirements (food, FSC etc).

DISPLAY MANUFACTURERS: POP display manufacturers usually provide their clients with a fully coordinated project. This means manufacturing a range of different products with varying technical characteristics. Depending on the item, many descriptive fields need to be completed in order to prepare the estimate, a prototype, graphics and copy, layout and 3D, the product category (paper, durable or semi-durable goods), the distribution channel (pharmaceutical, large-scale retail trade, retail or cosmetics), shipping method etc.

PROJECT ACTIVITY PLANNER

The Planner provides a real-time view of the processing phases of a single project via GANTT chart. This makes it easy to see the activity a department is engaged in or view the current production status of a job, even for sales team members working outside the company.

MANAGEMENT ANALYSIS

Management analysis relating to the pre-production phase is based on the specific data of the business using the software. You can: Subdivide projects or briefs by period and view and compare live jobs with those still awaiting approval. Check revised briefs or samples in a given period. Subdivide briefs, orders, times or amendments by client or agent and analyse the performance of your technical department.  

Management analysis is useful for understanding work performance and for identifying potential areas for improving productivity.
